Crypto Asset Manager 3IQ has debuted one of his hedge fund products as an active managed certificate (AMC) with the Swiss regulated partner Criptonite Asset Management, the companies said on Thursday.
AMCs are regulated investment vehicles with which qualified investors can invest in actively managed products. The new structured product is due to trade on Swiss stock exchange six.
The 3IQ Criptonite Multi-Factor AMC is a hedge fund that uses a long/short strategy that uses market recording and downrends with dynamic positioning, according to a press release.
A pioneer in the Crypto Trading Arena, 3IQ was one of the first fund managers who listed a Bitcoin fund, with his Bitcoin Fund on the TSX, and the first with a listed Ether Fund, also in Toronto.
“Talented managers have migrated to digital assets that show their ability to generate the Alfa that they have previously reached in traditional markets,” said Criptonite CEO Florian Rais in a statement.
