South Korea’s First Bitcoin Treasury Firm Emerges with $18.5M Acquisition Deal

The Bitcoin Treasury strategy is booming. Public companies now have more than 777,000 BTC – almost $ 80.6 billion – and South Korea jumps in.

Parataxis Holdings has officially announced plans to set up the first Bitcoin Treasury Company in South Korea, indicating a daring shift in the adoption of companies in Corporate in Asia.

Parataxis acquires Bridge Bio to launch BTC Treasury Arm

In a strategic step, Parataxis Holdings will acquire a controlling interest in Biotech Firm Bridge Bio for $ 18.5 million, according to the latest reports. After the acquisition, Bridge Bio is renamed Parataxis Korea and will function as a Bitcoin-oriented Treasury Company.

Parataxis follows the path that is kept by MicroSstratey, the most prominent public company that holds Bitcoin. The company, led by Michael Saylor, owns 592.100 BTC – appreciated at more than $ 61.4 billion.

Parataxis partner Andrew Kim revealed that the move is inspired by success stories such as MicroSstrategy and Asia’s Metaplanet, which has 10,000 BTC. Kim emphasized Bitcoin’s long -term potential for shareholders and national economic value.
