The rate -related whiplash continues, as President Donald Trump says that trade conversations with China are again, a week after accusing the Chinese government of breaking an earlier agreement.
Trump says that Minister of Finance Scott Bessent, secretary of the Trade Howard Lutnick and trade representative Jamieson Greer, will meet Chinese representatives in London on Monday to discuss the trade agreement.
“The meeting must go very well. Thank you for your attention for this issue!”
The Trump government announced several rates for China at the beginning of April, to which China responded with retaliation measures. Last month the White House announced that it had reached a deal with China to suspend and lower many of those rates that the Kickstart stock market have.
But last week Trump claimed social social that China has violated the conditions of the deal.
