On 3 June 2025, Shiba Inu community members received a warning about a phishing -scam using fake -coinbase -e -mails. De Alert came from Susbarium Shibarium Trust WatchA x-oriented account on X on X that follows crypto-related scams.
Scammers mink coinbase to steal shib user references
According to the post, scammers e -mails that seem to be of the Coinbase Compliance team. The message tells recipients to confirm account details or to run the risk of losing access to important functions, such as sending, selling or transferring crypto. The e -mail simulates official Coinbase Branding and creates a sense of urgency to mislead users to give away private references.
The warning from Susbarium is strongly advising not to click Shib users to click on such e -mails on such e -mails or to enter sensitive data.
