Will CPI Data Trigger a Crypto Crash?

The broader cryptocurrency market has been on a rising spree in the last three days due to various optimistic factors, including a positive American job report and a new restart of trade discussions between the US and China. This has created a recovery path of the Thursday flash crash.

However, this optimism is expected to have a short life, because the Big Shot Cryptos such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH) and Ripple’s XRP are running a serious risk this week that can show comparable movements such as Thursday 5 June.

These results are predicted as the American China Handel discussions on Monday in London, which is seen as a very volatile catalyst, with the potential to cause sharp movements.

Another most critical factor to look at are the CPI data from Wednesday, which is crucial for market sentiment.

A Bloomberg questionnaire suggests that inflation is probably enriched in May by rates. If the report shows a higher than expected number, it can cause a bearish movement, so that crypto-market sentiment is filled in by indicating a delay in consumer expenditure.

Conversely, if the CPI is lower than expected, this can lead to a significant profit for top cryptocurrencies and altcoins.
